Curriculum map
Every comprehension question in the four adventures, counted by reading skill, adventure and school year. The questions are mapped to the KS2 reading content domains (STA test framework); the mapping is our own.
What to count
How to read the map
Each adventure asks one question per chapter. The school year a child picks changes which reading skill that question practises, and Easy, Medium and Hard change how much support and evidence it needs. A number in the table is how many questions a child in that year meets for that skill in one play-through at the chosen challenge (or across all three challenges).
The questions are mapped to the KS2 reading content domains (STA test framework); the mapping is our own. We have not asked the Department for Education or the Standards and Testing Agency to check it, and it is not an official list.

National curriculum statements behind each skill
Each question is linked to one statement from the programme of study for its year group (Years 3 and 4 share one programme, as do Years 5 and 6). The words in quotation marks are copied exactly; the page numbers are those printed in the document. Which statement we link to each question is our own judgement.
