Underhill Maths: story maths adventures for Years 3–6
Comfort settings
No timers, unless a teacher has set a practice clock for the Tables Tower. Settings are kept on this device only.
Oli and Ru and the Fernford Crossing
Help Oli and Ru cross the river to the Hazelnut Fair, solving maths puzzles on the way. Take as long as you like. If you get stuck, tap “Help me”.

The Tables Tower
Oli and Ru have found an old stone tower at the edge of Fernford Wood. Every floor has a door with a times-table lock. Pick any table to practise: the glowing one is a good one to try next. Nothing is locked, and there is no rush.
No clock. Take as long as you like on every question.
25 questions from all the tables, like the Year 4 multiplication tables check. No clues during the check, and no pass mark: it just shows which facts to practise next.
